Refund policy

This policy sets out your rights regarding refunds for Recepticall services. It is written plainly and should be read alongside the terms of service.

Audit — £600

The audit fee of £600 is non-refundable once the discovery call has taken place and work on your custom mini-demo has begun. If you cancel before the discovery call and no preparatory work has commenced, a full refund will be issued within 5 working days.

If you proceed to a build, the £600 audit fee is credited in full against the build cost. It is not charged as an additional fee on top of the build.

Build and launch — £2,500 to £5,000

First payment (50%)

The first payment covers discovery, configuration, and initial build work. It is non-refundable once work has commenced. If we have not yet begun and you cancel within 48 hours of payment, a full refund will be issued.

Second payment (50%)

The second payment is due on go-live. It covers integration testing, the review call, and the live deployment. If you choose not to proceed after the review call, the second payment is not charged. If you have already paid the second payment and the system has gone live, it is non-refundable.

Monthly retainer — from £500 per month

The monthly retainer is charged at the start of each billing period. It covers that month's service and is non-refundable once the period has commenced. If you cancel partway through a month, you retain access to the service until the end of that billing period. The remaining days are not credited.

To cancel, send written notice to [email protected]. 30 days notice is required. No cancellation penalty applies.

Annual retainer contracts

Annual contracts are billed quarterly or annually in advance at a 15% discount. If you cancel an annual contract before the end of the term, no refund is issued for unused months. Access to the service continues until the end of the paid period.

Service failures

If Recepticall fails to deliver the agreed service due to our own error or negligence, we will work with you to resolve it. Where a resolution is not possible, a partial or full refund may be offered at our discretion, up to the fees paid in the affected period. Downtime caused by third-party infrastructure providers is not covered by this commitment.

How to request a refund

Email [email protected] with your name, the service you purchased, the date of payment, and the reason for your request. We will respond within 3 working days.

Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method within 5 to 10 working days depending on your bank or card provider.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law. If you are purchasing as a consumer rather than as a business, you may have additional rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
